The Nature Conservancy’s Green Tie Affair was held April 28 in Minneapolis, MN and was the first of its kind for the region. It was an evening honoring the beautiful natural lands and waters the organization works so diligently to preserve.
Using science and innovation, The Nature Conservancy collaborates with environmental stewards, including individuals and corporations, who share the same respect and concern for protecting and conserving our natural world.
The Nature Conservancy’s Lead Scientist, Dr. M.A. Sanjayan, entertained guests with his animated stories combining his knowledge and worldly experience with an optimistic take on the very real and sobering state of our environment. Adventure Packages aligned with the Conservancy’s work, including a sea kayaking excursion and turtle monitoring in Baja’s Magdalena Bay, Mexico, fetched top dollar during the live auction benefit.
