Andersen Corporation is pleased to be among 110 Minnesota businesses awarded Xcel Energy Efficiency Partner. Together the winners saved enough energy to power more than 5,500 homes and 29,000 tons of carbon dioxide was prevented from entering the air – equating to 5,700 cars off the road for a year!
This is the third year in a row Andersen has been awarded Energy Efficiency Partner. Many of the conservation efforts made to achieve this award are done behind the scenes and not easily seen by those not directly involved, according to Karen Rhodes, Xcel Energy efficiency marketing manager. Therefore these awards are a way to congratulate these businesses and help give recognition and bring awareness to their employees and customers for what’s happening behind the scenes.
